Trying to decide if we should do a walking tour or food tour. We wouldn’t be available until early afternoon.
Just finished 60 days in Italy
4 nights in Venice
suggested walking tours in the afternoon and then have dinner at a restaurant called. Da Ivo
You will not be disappointed
Just my opinion, but there's food everywhere: Venice is unique. I wouldn't want to spend my only time there inside in a restaurant.
Agreed, I'd take the walking tour. Venice has so much to see!
Unless you're the type of tourists who are specifically there for the food.
Thank you for the restaurant suggestion. I’m going to make sure we go. I’ve been to Venice but only for a day and we didn’t have any idea where to eat. Now to find the vest waliing your for the four of us.
We did a food/walking tour and loved it. It was fun to get a little history and insight to the city at the start of our trip, as well as taste the different cicchettis (sort of like tapas). We had such a great time that we went and did our own cicchetti bar hop for dinner later that week. Also the guides can give great insider advice about where to eat the rest of your time there.
