I'll be kicking around Rome and environs for a few days in December, and would love to return to Orvieto for a day trip. However, this is Christmas week I'm talking about! Is there a "usual" closing day for many shops and restaurants in Orvieto? Would it be Monday? If so, how likely is it that shops will close by noon/1:00 pm for the day on Christmas Eve (Tuesday)? Thank you for any insight you can share!
