One day bike tour-Italy

Hi,

We're leaving for Italy in about a week and have booked a day wine/biking tour with WWW.IBIKETUSCANY.com while we are staying in Florence. We looked at few and their prices seemed reasonable and they have nothing but good reviews on tripadvisor. Quick response to emails and super friendly. They'll pick you up at your hotel and provide van support during the day. We're excited to go on the ride. Not sure when you're going to Italy but I'll be happy to post a review on how it went when we get back.

Hi Beth, My friend and I had a great one-day bike tour about 10 years ago from a great little company called: The Accidental Tourist. http://www.accidentaltourist.com/
It was the highlight of our trip! At the time, it was very reasonably priced, and we biked through the gorgeous countryside with a great guide. We had super-brand-new bikes and stopped at private vineyards, olive groves, and finally a small local family-run restaurant.They even gave us a t-shirt that I still have...I highly recommend this one. I believe there are many reviews about it on Trip advisor as well.

This web site has been "updating its web site" for awhile now, however there is contact infomation on the page. We loved the ride we took with them in 2008. I have recommended them to others and received excellent feedback as well. It was 60 euros a person when we went in 2008 and included wine and olive oil tasting, lunch, all equipment, a water bottle you could take home, and the ride. They pick you up and drop you off right in FLorence.

It also gets good reviews on Trip Advisor. There are several listed on Trip advisor. They are listed under Things to do in Florence, or Attractions in Florence. Three different bike companies rank 5,6, and 7 our of 238 things. Apparently most people who do this love it. (I know I did)
