One day bike tour from Rome

We will be in Rome the end of March, 2016. I would like to book a day trip out of Rome involving an easy bike ride, maybe through Tuscan or Umbrian Hills. Any recommendations for a tour out of Rome?

Thanks in Advance!

Hi -
I haven't done a ride with this outfit but have been looking at them for awhile as they get stellar reviews:

They are tours - which i'm not sure is what you're looking for - and I'm not seeing Tuscany/Umbria but the Appian Way ride could be great fun (we've hiked a chunk of that on foot: best day in Rome to date), and either of the two rides offered "Beyond Rome" could be 5-star days as well. Take a peek and pull up some reviews?

FYI: while most of the walkable/rideable portion of the Appia Antica is technically 'in' Rome, it travels way out into the countryside. Parts of the ancient (REALLY ancient) road are bumpy but it's flat, and the ruins out there are fascinating.

You're very welcome! I'd love to do one of them myself (and maybe will get the chance in the future).

Because I haven't the personal experience to offer up, I'm sort of hoping you get some other replies so you have something to compare to/choose from but at least I'm seeing an unusual amount of glowing reports for this outfit.

And I'm chuckling a bit because I somehow completely overlooked the Rick Steves' endorsement that's at the top of their webpage until today!
