One afternoon in Milan

I am in Milan on Monday when the Last Supper, da Vinci exhibits, and La Scala are closed. (1)Besides the Duomo and the Galleria Victoria Emmanuel does someone have suggestions of "must see" places. Have heard the cemetery is interesting.
(2) Any ideas of how to get from Malpensa Hotel near airport to the city without paying a 40 euro shuttle from hotel to airport first? So far all I can see is a cab.

Thank you. Brera Gallery and Castle Sforzesco museum are closed, but as you suspected the rest of the Castle seems to be open. Thanks again.

Castello Sforzesco, even if the castle is closed the grounds should be open. Check times for the Brera Gallery as well. If you want some face-time with the gargoyles you can take the elevator to the roof of the Duomo.

There is always something going on the Pinacoteca di Breba. A walk around the area is also pleasant, especially if you can combine it with a late afternoon apertitivi session. As for getting to/from the hotel, I can't locate your hotel by name. There are many hotels that go by "xxxx Malpensa Hotel". What is the address of your hotel?

If by Monday you mean tomorrow, there is a symphony concert at 8 at La Scala with the La Scala Philharmonic with Riccardo Chailly on the podium. All Verdi program with Tenor Roberto Calleja.
