Once I get off the train in Varenna, how do I get to the bed and breakfast "il Bolentino" on foot?
Check the website Rome to Rio for directions. The train station is Varenna Elsinore. It is a 3 minute, 840 foot walk mainly downhill from the station. The website has a map. Edited to Varenna Esino - darn spell check.
Enlarge/ zoom way into the Google Map on the "directions" section of the B & B's website using the below link. You'll be able to see the train station icon and the location of the B & B. Do a "virtual walk" so that you can replicate it once on the ground. You can also confirm in writing with the B & B over email.

Just use Goggle map for that. Easy to use. Plug in the addresses.
Pay attention to the map - it's even shorter, more like 500 feet - because you shouldn't follow the google maps walking directions that send you under the train tracks and back again; you just have to leave the station by the southwest walkway (stairway?) and you're already on the via Esino, and the next downhill intersection turn left and the B&B is on the corner. Basically follow the creek bank until you get to the big traffic sign on your left.
Thank you all. I am trying to help out the owners of the B&B by writing an addition to their website to help their guests when they arrive. I really appreciate the help. They are wonderful people, the owners.
Might be worth adding in to be ready, and be standing by the doors, to get off the train immediately it stops at Varenna-Esino; as it doesn't stop for very long at all!
