Omnia Vatican Roma card?

We are a family of 6. We will be in Rome for 4 1/2 days. I've posted another thread as well... We know we want to see Colloseum, The Foum, the Pantheon, Scala Santa, Sam Giovanni, St. Peter's, Sistine chapel. Should we buy the Omnia 72 hour pass? Or buy the tickets individually once we get there? I'm getting stressed, stressed, stressed. We arrive in Rome on June 11.

The Roma Pass might be better. The only way to know for sure is to add up the individual rates for the sights you want to visit and compare. The price, at over $100, seems outrageous to me.

This is one of the things I'm trying to figure out too as I will be there next week...
RS Italy says the 3 day Roma pass (36 Euros) gets you into first 2 sights free and a discount on others plus unlimited transportation, which is one big reason I am considering- ease of getting around the city. I'm planning on picking it up at the train station when we arrive but we are planning many more museums/sights.
Also, St. Peter's is free and the Sistine chapel is part of the Vatican Museum. Vatican sites are not included in Roma Pass. The Pantheon is also free and the other churches are free or nominal. Colloseum/Forum is part of the same sight.

Good Luck!

Please correct any of this!!

We know we want to see Colloseum, The Foum, the Pantheon, Scala Santa,
Sam Giovanni, St. Peter's, Sistine chapel.

If that's all that's on your list, then definitely do not buy the Omnia pass: it's very overpriced to begin with. The Pantheon, Scala Santa, San Giovanni and St. Peter's are all free - no tickets needed - and there oodles of others that are also free and also interesting/gorgeous!

Buy your tickets for the Colosseum/Forum/Pantheon (one ticket covers all) from the official website:

http://www.coopculture.it/en/the-colosseum.cfm

Buy your tickets for the Vatican Museums/Sistine from the official website here, and you will need to choose a specific day and open time slot:

Rome is going to be very busy so I wouldn't wait to buy them there. No, the Roma Pass doesn't cover the Vatican.

We've rarely felt the need to take public transit in Rome but it's easy to buy a few single tickets (BITs) and tuck them away for use as desired. There are also 24, 48 and 72-hour transport passes.
