Olympics in Milan and Cortina. Places to stay and visit after the olympics

Just planning as it’s a Christmas gift. A trip of a lifetime actually. Having difficulty finding reasonable accommodations. Any recommendations?

During the Olympics I would expect availability and pricing to be difficult. If you put in actual dates ranges and your definition of "reasonable" and your hotel requirements I'm sure people will have some ideas.

Good luck,

To get an idea of availability in different cities/towns, one place to look is booking.com. However, hotels and other lodgings don't necessarily list all their rooms on that website, so direct contact may be necessary. It may also save you money.

I'd expect rates to be extremely high right now. If demand softens, they might come down shortly before the Olympics begin, but that would be a nerve-racking wait.
