We are traveling to Chiavari in the second half of October. We are looking for a agriturismo, not too far away, that is an olive oil farm so that we can see the harvest and watch the oil being made. Is this a possibility?

Hmmm, sorry, don't know about agriturismos, but you MUST eat at Luchin restaurant in Chiavari! Excellent Ligurian food. Try the Trofie with pesto, and their stuffed vegetables are the best we've ever eaten! Chiavari is such a beautiful town. Enjoy!

I, too, am interested in staying in Chiavari to take in LIguria. I just saw your post and had to search. This site looked promising. How was your trip?! I'd love to know the place you found to stay. Welcome home!
