I am trying to purchase official colosseum tickets for May 7th, but am having trouble. I realize the tickets go on sale 720 hours (30 days) in advance Rome time. Due to the trouble of getting the underground tickets, I've decided I'd rather have a better shot of trying for the regular tour instead.
The issue is that I'm practicing as of today, but I don't see the tour for May 5th (30 days from today) open at all online. It still says 'Not available online' versus the others that show as sold out.
Has anyone run into this before? I don't want to wake up in the middle of the night for nothing!
