odd question I know... Can I purchase pretzels in the rome airport?

I get air sick- and they help settle my tummy- should I pack an extra bag on my way out of the US? Or can I pick one up there for the return trip?

I probably would not count on it - Pretzels are not common in Italy...I do find them in "party/bar snack mix" type combos though. I haven't looked at the airport. You will easily find potato chips and crackers though if those will do...otherwise...bring your own (I have a kid, so we always travel with tons of snacks anyway!) or ask the airline hostess for some right when you board (they usually give pretzels now instead of peanuts).

Amy, doesn't Hanovers or Rold Gold sell boxes of snack-sized packs? If so, tuck a few of those in your luggage for your return. I enjoy those little packs of cracker sandwiches so I usually throw some of them in our luggage in case we get hungry somewhere along the way with no time to eat! Enjoy your trip!
