NYE near piazza del popolo

We (4adults) will be in Rome for New Year's Eve. We're staying near piazza del popolo and looking for suggestions on what to do. We will want to have a nice dinner then we're open to suggestions. So any suggestions on where to dine or where to be to ring in the new year? Thanks
