It's called NTV, Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori, and it debuts in March. I can't find a place to make a res yet.

Will this train travel the same routes? Venice to Florence; Florence to Rome? Is there any information available or guesstimates on pricing?

The Rome to Venice timetable for this train is actually longer than the Trenitalia Frecciargento. Trenitalia is 3:48, while Nuovo Trasporto is 4 hrs. But the NT Milan to Rome nonstop is very impressive, at 3 hrs, but there's only one a day of those.
