November trip to Assisi and Rome

Hi all,
We had SUCH great advice on the forum for our trips to Berchtesgaden, Vienna and Budapest that I wanted to hop on here for suggestions/recommendations for our upcoming trip to Italy. My husband and I are planning a November trip to Assisi and Rome. We are flying into Rome and plan to go directly to Assis for 3-4 nights. My daughter was in Rome and Assisi last summer and loved it. As Catholics, we are excited to see where Saints Francis and Clare lived.

I am wondering best way to go (train, driver?)
1. from airport in Rome to Assisi.
2. from Assisi to Rome on a Sunday afternoon.
3. from center of Rome to airport for a 10 am flight. I looked on sites for "van/bus" but they don't seem to run at 6am ish so we could get to airport 3 hours ahead of flight.

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Joanne

Christine,
Sorry for the confusion. I posted it under the "transportation" heading and also here under "Italy".
Thank you for your info.
Our AirBnB is on Piazza della Rovere, a 30 min ride to the airport. I will reach out to the AirBnB host to see if he will be willing to call a cab for us since my Italian is not good.
Do you mean the cab is one fee or per person?
Any other tips appreciated.
thanks,
Joanne

One flat fee

There are taxi apps
Do a search here in forum
I think one is called FreeNow

Otherwise you’ll need to find the closest taxi rank
There should be one right near your place
Can’t just flag one down in Rome

Or you can book a driver for a little bit more
Rome Cabs-driver service not a taxi
Excellent reviews here on the forum
