November in Italy

We are looking at visiting Italy for 2 weeks in November. Will be in Florence for 4 days and sure everything will be on regular schedule . Is that also true in the smaller cities? Wineries? They say it is the rainiest month. Has anyone experience traveling in November? Thanks

Everything will be on a regular schedule.

If they say its the rainiest month bring an umbrella or a waterproof jacket with a hood but it could happen to turn out to be sunny all the time when you are there and rain a lot when you are not, that's the way it goes. It is generally good to go to Italy anytime of year and Florence is busy all year around except on Xmas or New Years day or the month of January
