Looking for suggestions of things to do on Saturday, Nov. 1st in Rome Italy. I understand the Vatican will be closed to tourist that day.

You can do just sbout anything else. November 1 is a religious holiday, so church museums (like the Vatican Museums) will be closed.

You should visit a cemetery. Most locals will be gathering there. In Rome I recommend the Verano Monumental Cemetery.

Churches will be open on November -, buy may schedule extra masses, which may curtail tourist access.
