The morning i arrive at Milans Malpensa Exp Airport the Malpensa Exp is not running. I need to get to Milan Central for a reserved train late morning. What is best and fastest mode of travel for a family of 4? reserved car and driver (which firm CTM Limo or European Limo Consortium)? Train w connections (if so which routes)? Bus (which company)? im more concerned about timeliness and less concerned about cost.

There are frequent buses between Malpensa airport and Milano Centrale. That is what I used the last time this happened to me.

what time/date is your arrival and what time is late morning train to catch?
one big issue i'd be worried about is if flight delayed or worse cancelled. how fast/slow to get thru immigration/passport, how quickly your gang moves. one reason mentioned here quite a bit is if that important, night before arrival.
best hire limo, ask taxi outside of baggage and hoping no traffic! good luck

I’m not aware of the MXP Express train not operating at any date in the near future. There are no strikes announced in the Ministry of Transport’s website and I couldn’t find any news related to disruptions of other nature.
