I have a professional trip to Milan April 8-10 and have the earlier part of the week free. I would normally love to ski or hike in the Dolomites, but it seems the first week of April is really the "closed" season there as it is in many mountainous regions. Where should I go to enjoy stunning scenery and get some outdoor exercise?
