My boyfriend and I are traveling to Italy and Germany May 17-June 4. Our plan is to end our trip in Konstanz (where my sister lives). We want to start in Italy and spend about 10 days there. We definitely want to visit Venice and Lago Maggiore. We also wanted to spend some time in a smaller, more rural town where we could potentially rent bikes and visit wineries. Can anyone suggest something like this near Venice or Lago Maggiore? Also, we are not planning to rent a car- neither of us can drive a manual.
