Northern Italian Honeymoon

My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon for January 2025. We want to explore Northern Italy and include a few days of skiing in the alps. We love to ski, although we are no experts. We want to combine a week in Italy exploring and then the rest of the time skiing the alps. We would love to go for about 10-14 days. We are open to skiing at any country in the alps - thinking possibly Chamonix in France (as the end of our trip and then possibly fly out of Geneva back to the states)?

This is our first trip to this area so I know that I want to see Venice and Florence to see the history and culture in this area. Otherwise we are open to exploring the best parts of Northern Italy and are open to any recommendations for sightseeing, skiing, and traveling between each area. Thank you!

Sorry, don't know about skiing, but I think all on your list would be tight with 10 days. In two weeks, probably doable. Look at all of the transport before you buy your tickets, but an open jaw itinerary will be a great time saver.

Why not ski in the Dolomites? Fly into Florence (or nearby Pisa) and out of Venice. Put the skiing in the middle; travel by train from Florence to Bolzano, where you take a nice bus into the Val Gardena. Choose your village—-Ortesei, Santa Cristina, Selva. There are lots of nice hotels in each one.

After your ski time, return to Bolzano by bus and take the train to Venice for the rest of your time in Italy.
