Greetings All!
A friend and I are spending two weeks in Italy 8/25-9/06 so coming up fast. Its a last minute trip. We are laid back ladies and don't like to rush and love history, architecture and amazing food. We have both been to Rome and Florence separately and I have been to Orvieto (absolutely loved it) and also Pisa and Cinque Terre. This trip we will be in Siena for 6 nights. Please share your favorite day trip suggestions. Secondly, we will leave Siena by car and head to Venice where we fly out. I thought a couple nights (or 3) in a can't miss coastal town (beach plus cool sights) en route to Venice would satisfy our beach craving. Neither of us think we need a lot of time in Venice but do want to experience it. Thanks in advance!
