non-car travel to Ponte di Legno Italy from Milan late Aug 2012

Daughter is racing for Canada at World Mtn Championships in Ponte di Legno Italy on Sept. 2, 2012. We her parents are trying to get there from Milan or Bergamo without a car. Need help fast.
