no longer on website...3day itinerary around Amalfi Coast

If you've hunted around on Rick's site you've seen suggested itineraries for particular destinations/cities. They was one a few weeks ago up on the website for the Amalfi Coast: 2-day, 3-day and 4-day suggested itinerary. If you were smart, unlike me, and printed it or saved a PDF of it, would you please share it with me? Thank you and happy traveling.

Thank you Sara, yes I saw this one. This will definitely help and includes some enticing adventures. I wonder if the Italy Travel Guide suggests how to organize a 2 or 3-day visit of this area. Hmm? I liked the way the articles lay out the days itinerary because it moves you through town in a logical way (not knowing the lay of the land) and considers the best time to visit certain sites (lessor crowd times, etc.). Ultimately you can't go wrong, it's a vacation! :)

Hello Athena,
The guidebook does suggest how to plan your time. Read the planning your time section for each of the following: Naples, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento, Capri, Positano and Amalfi. There is a lot of good info about the Bay of Naples in each of these sections. I would suggest 3-4 days in the area...Stay somewhere central like Sorrento. 1 day Pompeii and Herculaneum (there is a lot to see so be up early to do as much as possible), next day Amalfi Coast (I rented a car with friends and drove, you can take the bus or a tour), day 3 go to Capri (consider a boat tour to the grottos), Day 4 (optional) Museums/castle in Naples or spend relaxing time in Sorrento, or ferry to Ischia to visit the beaches and hot springs (consider booking a tour or hang near the castle where there are some great restaurants and a lovely beach with hot spring). Happy Travels!
