Finally a solution in sight for Venice and the cruise ship saga...in 2036??

Honestly, not an incredibly informative article. At first I thought it was going to talk about the locals that depend on the cruise industry. But then veered into the mythical banning of the ships saying a terminal at the freight dock would only be a temporary solution and an offshore solution is needed, but...

“The offshore plan will take 10 to 15 years and would be logistically
difficult for cruise passengers and port workers,”

Stay tuned to the year 2036 to find out how this all plays out...

If Venice is still above water 15 years from now, it’ll be nice if they find room for everybody. Spending the night is still a better way to experience Venice than a quick shore excursion.
