NLG Ferries at Sorrento and Amalfi: Is my QR code enough to board?

Hi all, I have two NLG ferries booked for the next two weeks. One is from Sorrento to Amalfi, the other is from Amalfi to Napoli. I used Ferry Hopper to book the first one but the second is directly from NLG's site. Both e-tickets look the same however.

After reading online I am confused as to whether or not I need to go to the ticketing booth to print boarding passes before the ferries, or if my QR codes on the e-tickets will get me onto them without needing to go to the booth beforehand. Ferry Hopper says "No ticket collection required. Board directly with your e-ticket." and NLG's website seems to indicate that both Sorrento and Amalfi are direct boarding ports even with e-tickets. However others online say this is not their experience and they had to go to the ticket booth to collect boarding passes.

This would be most handy to know for the departure from Sorrento as I'll be coming from Pompeii and don't want to cut into my time there to go stand in the ticket booth line.

Thanks for the help!
