I'm trying to look for/possibly book a night train from Rome or Florence to Munich. The calendar stops in the beginning of June. I have read some things that say the summer schedule just isn't out yet, some that say it won't go to Florence or Rome because there is construction, and one place that said it just doesn't run at all in the summer on that route.
Does anyone know what is true?

Thus, you need to wait a few weeks longer.
Your timing is good. Due to the modernization of the Tauern Tunnel (between Bad Gastein and Mallnitz), the tunnel will be completely closed from 18 November 2024 to 4 July 2025.
This will have a major impact on train services between Salzburg and Villach.
I don't know yet, what impact this will have on the nightjet routes to Italy.
