Night Train From Milan to Munich

We would like to take the night train, and specifically a couchette, from Milan to Munich on 9/19 departing 21:05 and arriving @ 06:30. Where can I find out if a couchette is available and how can I order these ticket. I have tried the TGV-Europe.com site and DB BAHN. Is it true the tickets can not be purchased until 92 days prior to departure. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Your best site for booking is the DB site. Yes, booking opens 92 days in advance. (Germany is 8 hours ahead of Arizona so you actually can book 93 days in advance if you do so after 4:00 p.m. your time.) Book ASAP to get very good discount fares. Print your own tickets. All couchettes are the same size. The only difference is in how many bunks are pulled down (4 or 6). Paying a little more for bunks in a 4-person couchette is well worth it for the extra elbow room.

I took that train 2 years back (boarding in Bologna) and it saved a travel day. If you look at the DB site as soon as the reservations open up you can often find a private cabin at a discount for what the couchette price is.

Thanks for your suggestions and help. I have looked @ the DB site but see nothing about a couchette being available. Maybe a couchette is not an option until a ticket can be purchased?

On the DB site enter a date within 92 days of today and all your sleeping accommodation choices and Savings fare options will appear.
