Hello, I am planning a trip to Switzerland and Italy in May. I am trying to book a night train on trenitalia from Bern to Venice (to save time) on a week night in one of the couchette cars. The fares on trenitalia (esp non-refundable ones) seemed better than the ones posted in the swiss rail site. My question with trenitalia is this: there does not seem to be a ticketless option for booking a night train ticket. Does that mean door delivery is the only option? Do they deliver to US? How expensive is it? Is there any other less expensive way to obtain the tickets. I am guessing that it would be too late to book a night train by the time I get to Switzerland. I would really appreciate your help!
