has anyone taken the train cnl from venice to munich? i am having trouble booking on db bahn website. is there another way to book? it will not accept 1 + area code+number. and will not allow me to choose usa from dropdown menu keeps going back to uk/ireland

Eileen, I just booked it for May 27 this week....also had trouble on both DB and Trenitalia websites so I finally went to RailEurope so I could talk to someone in English. It "booked" it but then told me it couldn't fulfill it. Basically the train is always almost full and it's hard to get a seat they said since theres only one train per night, it books way in advance. We had to finally get berths in 6-person couchettes in second class even just to get ON the train! Quite different from the first class berths with showers we were wanting! I bet that's the same issue you're having.
