Hi all, Can you give me some good suggestions on what are the good night life attractions in Venice, Florence and Rome? My husband and I are leaving for Italy tomorrow- can't wait!! :)
We are not into clubbing much, so we would like to enjoy good music or theatre shows, or good dinners with music. Thanks!

Priya, check with your hotel when you arrive. They will know what's going on locally.

The best nightlife in Venice is free. Go to the Piazza San Marco and walk around listening to the various bands. Dance with all the tourists on the square and if you don't sit down it's free. I had a magical evening doing that in June this year.

If you are taking public transportation, don't forget to check how late they run. When we were in Rome in July, the metro shut down early because of maintenance. Venice is so much fun at night. The vaparetto (metro on the canal) is fun in itself. Check their times also. Have a great time!
