Nice-Torino-Milano

Hi all,
Does this sound okay for the little time I have? I know I want to do the Chagall museum in Nice, the Tenda train on the way to Torino, the Cinema Museum in Torino and the Duomo in Milano. Wish I had more time!

June 27 - Arrive Nice at 9pm
June 28 - Nice
June 29 - Nice
June 30 - Take Tenda train to Torino
July 1 - Torino
July 2 - Early morning train to Milan, day in Milan
July 3 - Leave Milan 7am to return to Ireland

I guess I'm just waiting for someone to tell me that I should be spending three nights in Milan, not Nice, or more time in Torino, etc. Someone who has been all of these places, where I haven't. Just been reading a lot and confused as to which way to go. I get your point, though!

Personally, Milan is one of my least favorite Italian cities and Torino is near the top of my list. I'd kill the day in Milan and add it to Torino. Great downtown area, Egyptian Museum and one of the best automobile museums in Europe.

The Duomo in Milan is magnificent; just be sure you have enough time to see it. I don't know whether it is now a place where you have to buy a ticket in advance, but it may be. Turin does sound more interesting than Milan.

There are lots of other good art museums in the Riviera towns (including at least 5 others in Nice).

Your route sounds ok! Do check museum closing days. As for Milan, I think it does deserve an afternoon to see the Duomo and surroundings + aperitivo by the Navigli. You can spend at least part of the morning of 2 July in Torino, and take a midday train, no need to go early.

Each city is very different. Nice is the most touristed of the three, though fun to walk along the ocean. Torino is beautiful with some great sites and restaurants. The Fiat museum is wonderful and fun to visit one of the first Eatalys. Milan is a busy city. Personally, I likes Torino more than Milan.
