Nice to Aix-en-Provence

Arriving in Nice and am hesitant to rent a car and drive, What is the best way to travel there?

Take the train. Direct TGVs from Nice Ville to Aix-en-Provence TGV (outside of the city) make the trip in just under three hours. There is frequent bus service from the TGV station to the Aix-en-Provence Centre station which is in the heart of the city. The bus ride takes 16 minutes.
