I cannot get the firenzemusei.it website to work (no matter how many englishes and polos and b-tickets I put with it), and yet I'm unwilling to shell out an extra ten euro for tickitaly, etc. My backup plan is the supersecret ticketbooth, but I'd prefer to have reserved tickets before we get to Florence. So what's the NEXT cheapest website where I can purchase these tickets? Thank you in advance!
Have you considered a phone call? It cost me $10 for the call, but it was very easy and for 4 tickets was less than the booking fees on the non-official websites.
Lola, you're brilliant! Thanks!
Contact your hotel. Mine made a reservation for no charge only the price of the ticket or some may have a small charge. If you make a phone call reserve your tickets use a calling card my is 13 cents per min.
Rebekah, I agree with Laura - ask the hotel to make them for you - I did and with no booking fee. Is there anything else you are booking tickets for in advance? I've booked Vatican but nothing else. Headed to Venice, Florence, Rome.
Rebekah We've always had our hotel or b and b make the reservations for us. Where is the "supersecret" ticket window?
No hotel--the in-laws are letting us use their villa. Here's an article about the secret ticket window: http://www.italylogue.com/things-to-do/super-secret-uffizi-ticket-booth-in-florence.html
For the Accademia, you can just go late in the day about an hour before closing and pretty much walk right in. The museum takes less than an hour.
I might do that for the Accademia then. Thanks!
