“Newish” restaurant in Ragusa, Sicily

We are travelling in Sicily for a couple of weeks and using the Sicily First Edition as an aid. We are finding this 2019 publication very useful.
While following the Ragusa Ilba walk this afternoon, we saw a restaurant across from the Portale San Giorgio and went there for dinner. It was very good. A departure from more traditional Italian cuisine, it is Risiu, a “ricotta bar and cheese experience”. Not surprisingly, it features ricotta from a local dairy served in a variety of ways. A hot ricotta soup is available after 7:30 pm and two very different tasting platters were devoured with gusto.
Highly recommended.
