Thanks to Patricia for posting this!
The site is operated by the City of Venice and offers discounts for advance purchase of public transit passes, parking, Aliguna service to and from the airport - and day passes to the public toilets. You select what services you want for the days you'll be there and purchase them online. They then give you a code to present when you arrive at Venice to pick up what you purchased. Pickup sites are at the train station, the airport and other locations.
Right now, if you purchase multi-day transit passes or parking, you can get free access to the Venice Casino (I've never read any comments on that) and free wi-fi at city wi-fi hotspots.
It's posted as a beta website so I'll be interested to see how this works. It's much more straightforward than the deceptive Venice Card.
I looked at this website. It says "It grants one admission to each of the four Museums in St. Mark's Square:
Doge's Palace
Museo Correr
Museo Archeologico Nazionale
Monumental Rooms of the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana
From April 1 to November 1 you can visit an additional Municipal Museum at your choice.
Cost is only E7.50 (under age 29) or E13 for over 29. We plan on just seeing Doges palace and St. Marks Museum. Would St. Mark's museum be included in this (municipal musuem of your choice)? If only used for Doges palace, would this be a good deal? Thanks
