I just read the following:
“ In addition, ministers agreed to reduce the validity of COVID-19 health certificates, which are needed to access an array of places and services, in recognition of the fact that vaccine effectiveness fades over time”
It doesn’t say what it was reduced to or if it affects international travel. I read elsewhere it might be 6 months. Does anyone know?
By the time we travel, we will be over 6 months from our last vaccine, so it would effectively cancel our trip.
If you're boostered, you would be fine; since your last dose would be recent.
Unfortunately we are not boostered, and now have no time to get it either, as we would be travelling in 5 days. On the other hand, I just read this new restriction will take effect Feb 1, so we will be back by then.
Yes, the six months is to be effective February 1st.
What if the booster is outside 6 months?

Lulu348, you would have to get another booster if your booster was more than 6 months old.
You could also think about getting boosted abroad. Most places will still vaccinate foreigners
