New Pompeii pass?

Hello everyone!

We are in the planning stage for a return to Italy next April. We'll be flying in/out of Rome and visiting Amalfi, Pompeii, and Naples. It's been almost 20 years since I visited Pompeii and my wife hasn't been there.

On the "Pompeii - Parco Archeologico" social media (FB) page I saw what appears to be the announcement of a new 3-day pass that covers Pompeii, Boscoreale, Oplontis, and Stabia.
They also mention free shuttles connecting all the sites.

I'm wondering if this is a one-time special event, or if this new pass will be a continued offering. Do any of you have any information about this?

Thanks!
Felix

Ten years ago, we bought five-site tickets, with a time limit. Three days is a little tight. You could not enter the same historic site twice with the pass, alas. We only had time for Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Oplontis. I think we bought the tickets at the Pompeii Scavi ticket office. We had tried to buy a transit-and-site pass at the Naples train station, with the word Campania in its name. But it was sold only at the Tourism Office there, and the line was so slow moving (mainly due to language difficulties from the people in line, who didn't have Italian, English, or French ability ... ) that we had to give up.

Edit: I seem to remember two posts here recently, one of which said the shuttle was handy, the other said it failed to appear as scheduled. I would point out that Pompeii Scavi and Oplontis are close enough to the Circumvesuviana, and Herculaneum is well-downhill from the Circumvesuviana, so you might only "want" a shuttle to move on from leaving Herculaneum. The Circumvesuviana is very cheap, if crowded and hot.

My only previous visit to Pompeii (2005) was a day trip from Rome. This time, we'll be in the Naples/Pompeii/Amalfi area for about 9 days. Here's a copy/paste of the FB automatic translation of their announcement:

"Everything is ready, today the Great Pompei is born!
A widespread park in which the archaeological areas of Pompeii, Boscoreale, Oplontis and Stabia are part of it and the whole surrounding territory.
A single ticket, valid for three days, integrated itineraries, free shuttles for visitors that connect the sites all day. They reopen the Antiquarium of Boscoreale (with a room dedicated to excavations in the suburban villa of Civita Giuliana, with the ceremonial float found in 2021) and the villas of Stabia; after the restoration of the covers, the Villa dei Misteri will have a lighting system, powered with photovoltaic tiles similar to the old ones.
Pictured are the last touches to the halls of the Antiquarium and to the wagon of Civita Giuliana, which will be visible in one of the halls.
And we celebrate and invite you all to Villa Regina in Boscoreale, today October 13th at 17:30, thanks to the municipality of Boscoreale with wine, tarallis and music... We'll be waiting for you!"

I visited Pompeii last year and took the Artebus to the outlying villas. It was great--I was the only visitor on the bus! I bought a Campania Artecard, which was a good value for me because it permitted access (with advance reservation) to Pompeii, those villas, MANN, Herculaneum, and Baiae. That pass was a better option for me than the Pompeii pass because I wanted to see Herculaneum and the museum. Have a wonderful time!
