New Florence Tram Line between Airport and SMN in 2018

Florence is currently constructing 2 new tram lines, with the one of most interest to this forum being tram line #2 that will connect the airport with the SMN train station area. Current expectations are that it will become fully operational in June 2018.

Last year returning my car the whole area was torn up, but had no idea what they were doing.
