My husband and I will be Rome this May/June and want to take a day trip out to the Naval Museum in Nemi On June 1st
The website says it's open on Sundays, which is great, but Sunday June 1st is Nemi's Strawberry Festival. Which is what
I want to go to :). I've tried twice to email them to confirm if they would be open on that Sunday, but to no avail. Any one have any suggestions?

I suspect it will be open. Nemi is very busy for the festival and the museum would get traffic form that. Perhaps you could call them. Italians do better with the phone for info overall. It's open 9-1830 it seems, so even if you are on the West Coast of the US you can call in the morning and still be during business hours.
Nemi is charming and worth a visit even without the museum. Be sure to walk down to the Belvedere.
I was trying to avoid calling, but I will do that tomorrow. I think they are already closed for the day
