Negative Test for Entry

I was under the impression that it was no longer required to have had a negative test result when arriving in Italy - just a fully vaccinated CDC Card. Checking my reservation for Friday on United and it says it’s still required. Anyone know for sure?

EDIT: Looking again, it says either a negative test OR a CDC proof of vaccination.

I had both first and second Pfizer shots in March 2021 and the Pfizer booster in March 2022. So I’m good to go?

Depends on when you travel. Does your third dose fall within this statement?

The certification of vaccination is valid for 9 months after completion of the vaccination cycle or administration of the booster dose.

The booster removes the 9-month limit. If boosted, you're good, regardless of when the booster was administered. Below is from the official site (bolding mine)...

"completion of the primary vaccination series or booster dose according to the vaccination plans of the countries of release with vaccines authorized by the European Medical Agency (primary series validity 9 months and booster dose without predefined limit) "

Interesting and confusing, Eric as your link and mine have same 5/31 date but mine does not have your bolded info.

I certainly agree it's confusing (and the official website's English translation is quite clunky!) Also, one has to satisfy whatever gatekeeper is checking this info for the airlines before one is allowed to board, which is a whole 'nother conversation :-)
