Needing Riomaggiore hotel/B & B

We are going to Italy in a week and thinking about staying in Riomaggiore. Does anyone have any suggestions? Trying to stay under 80 euros. Thanks!

This is a B&B my husband and I found while walking from the elevator in Riomaggorie to the upper level. Eugenio Bordone is the name of the contact (I think) 0187020196. She what Shannon wrote below. You can google her name and find info. She does not speak English but is a delight!! Let us know what you find out.

The address is : Ivana Bonanni 322 Via Signorini - 19017 Riomaggiore (La Spezia) Italy

We loved our stay at Ivana's cute little cottage. What amazing views! You will have such a wonderful time when you go back. Thanks again for your Rick Steves post.

I want to go back for a visit and stay here. I want to send her the pictures I took of me and Tom, my husband. Keep in touch. Bonnie

-----Original Message----- Sent: Monday, January 19, 2009 2:02 PM Thank you so much for your post on Rick Steves. I had just finalized a reservation for this cute studio you refer to, but then I couldn't find any reviews and became worried I just made a mistake. Your note reassured me I was on the right track! Here is the website I booked it on, incase you get to go back sometime. http://www.arbaspaa.com/hotel/Monolocale_vistamare_Riomaggio/default.aspx SMILE :)

Check out this place:

I haven't stayed there yet, but have done a lot of research for an upcoming stay (early May).

This place seemed the most reasonable, as far as prices. They are also quick to respond to e-mails, and sent me to a website with videos of their properties.

Stacey,

You might have a look at www.5terre-marmar.com/. They have a variety of properties available, and I found the room to be clean and very comfortable.

They used to have a strict rule that guests HAD TO arrive prior to 17:00, as they close the office for supper at that time. Not sure if that rule still applies?

The staff was very helpful, and I'd certainly recommend booking your accommodations with them.

Happy travels!
