Hello! Family of five (parents and three boys, 14, 12, 10) going to Venice in August. Need a good hotel in San Marco area. Found Locanda Orseolo - anyone know it? Also, it needs to be air conditioned. Would appreciate advice. Thanks.

Locanda Orseolo is truly amazing. If you can stay there, I would highly advise it. Amazing people work there and it's in a great location. Best breakfast I have had in Italy.

You might want to consider an apartment. We have had good luck with www.veniceapartments.org in the past.
