My husband is participating in the l’Eroica Oct 3 which starts in Gaiole Italy in the Chianti area. i am interested in finding a nice place to stay for three or four nights before the vintage bike ride. thank you.

Will you have a car? If so, there is an excellent zla Locanda Country House in Chianti in Radda in Chianti 19 km away.

Thank you for helping me. I have airfare and husband is registered for the L'Eroica and we will follow the vintage bike ride with RS Best of Tuscany tour. Need accomodations for three nights and hopefully rent a vehicle from Pisa airport.

We really loved Badia Coltibuono and Castello di Meletto. You would need a car for both though. Actually, you just need a car in general for Chianti, but Gaiole especially.

I appreciate Becky and April’s responses. Comment about rental vehicle in Chianti’s region makes sense but not advice I want to hear. Trying to decide if $350 for three nights could be used for Uber, local driver etc. Still pondering. Thank you.
