Need Rome Pedestrian Advice, Please

I need to know a pedestrian friendly route to walk from San Pietro train station to the HOHO bus stop located on Via della Conciliazione, please. I have a Streetwise Rome map, which has great detail of the street names. Thanks in advance.

Explain what you mean by pedestrian friendly. Think all the routes would be about the same.

That's quite a walk, you can probably find a connecting bus to take you nearer to Piazza San Pietro. If you do decide to walk, it would be helpful to know what your requirements are for pedestrian-friendly; I can't think of a street that doesn't require crossing against traffic, for example. Some streets have less treacherous cobblestones than others, but I'm not sure I understand what you need. Frank, looking forward to more frequent posts from you once you have hookup!

I think I found what I need on Mapquest. It states that it's only a 0.62 mile walk, and I don't think it's to far. Thank you both for taking the time to respond to my question.

Jill. The easiest solution would be to take the bus.the #64 bus picks up at Roma S. Pietro. Then you take the #34 to Via della Concillazone. Think the spot you get off at is just under the viaduct. To be sure, ask the driver. Here is the bus map of Roma
