Need Rome hotel two nights from 2nd January 2027

Last January I stayed in the Prati area and liked it a lot. Next January I need a hotel for two nights (2,3 January) I see that rates are about double as this is the pre Epiphany season. A number of hotels I have looked at state 'no availability'. Is this because it's too far ahead? Any suggestions about hotels for these dates? Thanks
