My husband and I are going to be in italy in August for 3 weeks, 5 nights will be spent in a town in the almafi area called praiano. It’s going to be our first time in that area and we really want to do a boat tour one day. I’d prefer an almafi coast tour over seeing Capri but welcome to all suggestions . I’ve done research and asked our Airbnb host but price differences are all over the place. We don’t want to go on the cheap but we can’t afford the major pricey stuff. Somewhere in the middle would be great. Thanks for suggestions!!!

You'd need to travel to Positano, short 20 minute bus ride, to take this one. It gives you a pretty good overview of the Coast line plus some swimming stops.

We had three glorious weeks in June, centered on the Amalfi Coast including two nights in Praiano.
Praiano is sweet but does not have a port. If you aren't locked in, you might consider Atrani, which is easily walkable to Amalfi, which does have a port.
The ferries are a great way to see the coast from the water.

Our host in Praiano hooked us up with Luma Charter last May. We arranged three hours for €300. Which we thought reasonable split four ways. He asked where we wanted to go and had recommendations, so it was flexible. We enjoyed it so much we bought an extra hour. Luca was charming and a wonderful captain/host.
