I found this to be well done when we visited. (The Pompeii tour is at the very bottom)

It seems we went everywhere the 'live' guides went, possibly in a different order. You can go at your own pace, but do not have the option to ask a question as you would with a live guide.

Check outs the RS recommended Mondo tours, small groups. We felt their tour was quite reasonable and professional. Have a great trip.
