Need help with Rome guided tour questions!

Myself and 3 others in my group would like to take guided tours of the Colosseum (preferably underground portion as well), Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. From what I've researched, these are all typically included in the same tour. Is it worth it to pay the extra for the underground/VIP tour? Aside from WalksofItaly, are there any other good recommendations?

We would also like to do the Vatican tour (Museums, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica). I noticed that you can book a guided tour directly through the Vatican website, the only downside is it looks as if you can choose from either the Vatican museums and the Sistine Chapel, or the museums and St. Peter's Basilica. Any ideas on how I can include all 3? Any help is appreciated. This vacation planning is getting a bit overwhelming!

Vatican tours usually include all 3 as the Sistine Chapel is adjacent to the museums. Walks of Italy does a fabulous job with the "Pristine Sistine" early entry tour.

For Ancient Rome -- Colosseo, Palatino and Foro Romano -- I would recommend Sonia Tavotetta, [email protected]. She will advise you on how to get the most out of 3 or 4 hours with her and will customize to your desires.

Last summer I ordered my Colosseum/Third Ring/Underground Tour with Coopculture.it. I highly recommend doing tour that includes the Underground and Third Ring. The tour guide provided was really great!
My ticket didn't include a tour of Roman Forum, but I used my Rick Steve's audio guide for that.

I booked with Walks of Italy last October for the VIP, Forum, and Palatine Hill - it was absolutely worth every penny. Courteous, efficient, and had a super great guide. He was so passionate about everything, he went over at least 1/2 hour. They even let me switch days when I needed to in order to make my Pompeii tour date. I can't wait to use them again.
