Need help with my last connection :)

I am traveling alone going to Italy (my favorite place) and have everything planned except 2 days and can't figure it out. So I need all of your help! It will be mid April and I end in Manoppello and have two nights and need to be in Camogli. So I would like to have something mid-way. Does anyone know of something different, small, interesting that I might explore?
Thank you so much for your help.

The drive alone shows at 6:28 which is a very long day. You will be traveling through many cities and many areas so hard to nail one down without knowing what you like. Orvieto, Arezzo, Pistoia, Lucca, etc. It also appears to go through Chianciano Terme where there is an Etruscan museum we visited on the Village Italy RS Tour. There are also thermal baths there but not sure if that is your style. And also you don't stay if you are looking to just stay somewhere? Chianciano Terme is about half way on that long drive. My choice is thermal baths aren't for you would be Orvieto or farther along either Lucca or Pistoia.

We plan to stay in Camogli for two nights in the midst of a longer trip this May/June. Do you have recommendations for a hotel there?

You want to stay somewhere for two nights midway? It's not halfway, more like 2/3 of the way, but I would choose Pistoia. It's small, right off the highway, lovely piazza, several striped churches, really good places to eat, and some interesting and amusing early 14th century frescoes in the Cappella del Tau --- my husband and I spent a good hour all by ourselves in this little chapel that was heavily damaged when it was made into apartments and painted over. We love finding quirky late medieval/early early Renaissance art like this.

We've also stayed in Camogli for week --- you will like that town!
