need help interpreting the extent of an air transportation-related strike on June 17

on website: http://scioperi.mit.gov.it/mit2/public/scioperi
On the above website, on June 17, I see the following strike:
06/17/2016 06/17/2016 FATA-CISAL plane

PERSONAL SOCC. ENAV, ALITALIA SAI, AIRPORTS OF ROME

24 HOURS: FROM 0:01 TO 24.00 National

What exactly is effected by this strike? Our plane arrives in FCO on the morning on July 18.

Do you mean you arrive June 18? Because you said you arrive in July and the strike is in June....

My apologies; yes we're arriving in the morning on June 18.

I would love to get some clarification on this as well since my flight is scheduled to land in Rome on 6/17...

I think if you're landing on the 18th you should be fine. if you're arriving on the 17th like someone else in this thread, you may experience delays.

Here's a video of Rick Steves talking about strikes in Italy:

Thanks for your help. I actually wasn't sure where to get more information. Here is a website from January 2016 about a strike at that time by Fata-Cisal (which is apparently an air transporatation-related union):
https://www.sitata.com/en/alerts/strike-in-aviation-sector-to-affect-rome-fiumicino-airport-on-january-25-2016

It says (sic):
Advice For Travellers
Travellers should check with their carrier or tour operator to see if schedules will be affected.

Sounds like that's the best thing to do.

P.S. Looks like ENAV is air traffic management. ALITALIA SAI is the holding company of Alitalia.

Here is some interesting chatter about Italian air strikes on another forum:
https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g187791-i22-k9467764-FYI_upcoming_strikes_on_May_14_June_17_2016-Rome_Lazio.html
The author seems like a subject matter expert, although I would still check with my airline:

I wish these alarmist travel sites would provide some important details about the laws regarding transportation strikes when they announce upcoming strikes.
In the event of an air strike, certain flights are protected and will not be cancelled. These include:
All departing flights between 7 and 10 AM and between 6 and 9 PM.
All departing intercontinental flights, except those to Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and Turkey
At least one daily arriving and departing flight to each destination in the Italian islands.
This is from the following official document, Section 4.5, page 7:
enac.gov.it/repository/ContentManagement/inf…
Thus all flights to North and South America, to Asia, and to Africa, with the exception of the four Mediterranean countries listed, will take off as scheduled.
Also, arriving flights from outside Italy are never affected, for obvious reasons.
Here is the official calendar of upcoming transportation strikes.
scioperi.mit.gov.it/mit2/public/scioperi
You can filter it (Filtra per settore) to show just air strikes (aereo) or train strikes (ferroviario). As already stated, strikes are often called off, so watch this page for updates. You can get a decent translation by pasting the URL into translate.google.com .

If you find out anything contrary to the above from your airline, could you please post that info? I'll do the same.
